The app's picture appears cut off on the TV. What should I do?

A cut-off picture is usually caused by a scaling or picture setting on the device connected to the TV, or on the TV itself. See below what to do in each case.

Windows PC connected to the TV

If you use a Windows PC connected to a TV, Windows may adjust the display to a larger scale than the default, and the app's screen ends up cut off.

  1. Right-click on the Windows desktop.
  2. Choose the Display settings option.
  3. In the window that opens, go to the Scale option.
  4. Change it to 100%.
  5. Restart the computer.

TV picture settings

If that doesn't solve it, or if you use a different type of device, check in the TV settings whether the picture setting is on Auto Adjust, 16:9 or another option.

Auto Adjust is usually enough, but on some models you may need to try other options until the picture fits.

Android TV Box

Some Android TV Box models have a Zoom option that makes the picture appear cut off at every edge of the screen. In this case, adjust the Zoom in the Android device's settings.
