Why is my high-definition video slow or freezing on the TV?

When you upload a file, Adeus Pendrive optimises its resolution and bitrate without noticeably affecting the final quality. What doesn't change is the frame rate (fps) of the original file.

This means that, even at lower resolutions, the device playing the video must support the fps of the uploaded file. If the fps is higher than the device supports, the video may be slow or freeze.

What devices usually support

FormatResolutionSupport
FullHD/30fps1920x1080Most current devices support it very well
4K/60fps3840x2160Only some more powerful devices

Even if you upload a 4K file, it can be played on devices that support FullHD, as long as the file's fps is within the limit supported by the device. In most cases, this standard is 30fps.

Tip: if your device supports a maximum of 30fps, upload videos of up to 30fps.
