Why is my high-definition video slow or choppy on the TV?

When you upload a file, Adeus Pendrive optimizes its resolution and bitrate without noticeably affecting the final quality. What doesn't change is the frame rate (fps) of the original file.

That's why, even at lower resolutions, the device playing the video needs to support the fps of the uploaded file. If the fps is higher than the device supports, the video may be slow or choppy.

What devices usually support

FormatResolutionSupport
FullHD/30fps1920x1080Most current devices handle it very well
4K/60fps3840x2160Only some more powerful devices

Even if you upload a 4K file, it can be played on devices that support FullHD, as long as the file's fps is within the limit supported by the device. In most cases, that standard is 30fps.

Tip: if your device supports a maximum of 30fps, upload videos at 30fps or lower.
