What file types can I upload, and what is the maximum file size?
You can upload images and videos. The accepted formats are listed on the Files page itself, just below the Add files button, under Accepted file types:
| Type | Accepted formats |
|---|---|
| Image | JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF |
| Video | MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WEBM, WMV, M4V, MPG, FLV, 3GP, RM, RMVB, VOB |
Other file types, such as PDFs, presentations, and text documents, can't be uploaded.
Tip: To display presentations or dashboards, see How do I display Google Slides on my TVs? and How do I display Power BI on my TVs?.
Maximum size per file
The per-file limit is shown on the Files page, below the Add files button, in the sentence "The maximum file size is ...". This value depends on your plan. In addition, uploads through the dashboard are limited to 1 GB per file.
You don't need to lower the resolution before uploading: Adeus Pendrive optimizes each file for the resolution of your TVs. For details, see What resolution is supported for videos? and What resolution is supported for images?.
Total storage space for files
There's no limit on the number of files, only on the total space they take up. The available space depends on your plan and can be checked in two places:
- At the bottom of the Files page, in the Available, Used, and Limit indicators.
- In My Account, on the Statistics tab, in the Used Space and Available Space fields.
Note: In dashboards branded with your company's brand, these storage indicators and the Plan tab in My Account are visible only to administrators.
If you run out of space
- Delete the files you no longer use. See How do I delete a file?.
- Check the available plans in My Account, on the Plan tab.
- Contact our support team to find out whether your account's storage space can be increased.
