How do I manage multiple TVs at once?

In the TV list, you can select multiple TVs and apply the same action to all of them at once. The list also has search, filtering by tags/folders, sorting, and an option to choose how many TVs appear per page.

Select TVs

  1. In the TVs menu, check the box next to each TV's name.
  2. To select all TVs on the page, check the box at the top of the Name column.
  3. Open the With selected... menu, which now shows how many TVs are selected, and choose the action.

Available actions

ActionWhat it does
Change PlaylistChanges the playlist on all selected TVs. Choose the new playlist and click Change TVs' Playlist.
RestartSends the restart command to the selected TVs. Confirm with Restart TVs. Only TVs that are Online receive the command.
Edit tags/foldersChoose the tags/folders and whether they will be added to the ones the TVs already have (Add) or will replace them (Replace). Click Save.
Receive NotificationsTurns on (Yes) or off (No) the email sent when the TVs go Offline / No communication. Confirm with Change Notification Settings.

Important: if you choose Replace without entering any tag/folder, the tags/folders of the selected TVs will be deleted. The dashboard asks for confirmation first.

Note: Change Playlist, Restart, and Edit tags/folders only appear for users with permission to edit TVs. Notifications are not available on all plans; see how to receive an email when a TV goes offline.

Search and filter

  • Search: click Search, above the list, or press any letter key on your keyboard, and type what you're looking for. The search covers the TV name, barcode, description, operating system, and the brand and model of the Android device.
  • Tags / Folders: click Tags / Folders and then a tag to see only the TVs that use it. The number in brackets shows how many TVs have that tag. See how to organize with tags/folders.

Sort and choose how many TVs to view

  • Sort by: Link Date, Name, Operating System, Last Communication, App Version, or Alerts. The arrow next to it shows whether the order is ascending or descending; to reverse it, choose the same option again.
  • TVs per Page: 15, 30, or 50.

Tip: when sorting by App Version, the app version appears next to each TV's name.

Screenshot of each TV

The Screenshot column has a button to see what is playing on each TV. It is available when the TV is Online. See how to see what is playing on the TV right now.
