How do I change the dashboard language?
Each user chooses which language they see the dashboard in. The choice applies only to your user: other people on the account keep the language they chose.
Step by step
- In the dashboard menu, click the circle with your photo (or your initial), then click My Account.
- On the Personal Information tab, choose the language in the Language field.
- Click Save.
The page reloads in the new language, with a message saying your information was updated.
Available languages
The dashboard is available in 60 languages, including Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), English (United States, United Kingdom, and India), Spanish (Spain, Mexico, Argentina, and Latin America), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Arabic. In the list, each language appears in its own name, for example English (US) or Español (México).
Before you log in to the dashboard
On the login and sign-up screens, the dashboard uses your browser's language or the last language used in that browser. When signing up, you can also choose the language from the language list on the form.
The TV language is a separate setting
Changing the dashboard language does not change the language of the entertainment shown on your TVs. To do that, use the Display Language option on the TV page. See how to show entertainment in another language.
